My favorite bird is the parrot.

All over the world, people are taking measures to ensure parrots get nice treatment.
Many cultures also consider them sacred.Parrots are highly intelligent and thrive at their best when they are free and not captured in cages.
I used to have a parrot when I was little and I never kept it in a cage.
It used to sit on my shoulder wherever I went and never flew away.
